Bookmaker Ladbrokes on Wednesday once again made Boris Johnson favourite in the race to be the next Conservative Party leader.
Theresa May had briefly assumed favouritism on Tuesday, but Ladbrokes reported a "surge of bets" for the former Mayor of London on Wednesday.
At time of writing, Johnson is available to back at Even money.
Stephen Crabb is another candidate to make up ground and he now has single figure odds of 8/1, while Andrea Leadsom remains fourth at 12/1.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Donohue told BetOnPolitics.co.uk: "Crabb has made headway to join Boris and May but it's the runner with the blonde mane who is in the lead again and picking up pace.
"The front three appear to be streaking away from the rest of the field with a crucial hurdle fast approaching."
