British bookmaker Ladbrokes say their punters have been backing Michelle Obama to return to the White House in 2020 - this time as President.

Donald Trump hasn't even begun life as President of the United States yet, however Ladbrokes report that punters are already looking ahead to 2020 and have backed Ms Obama into 14/1, having been initially chalked up at 66/1 in the immediate aftermath of this week's Election result.

President-elect Trump is odds-on at 4/6 to serve only one term and Ladbrokes make it a 3/1 shot he leaves office via impeachment or resignation at any point over the next four years.

Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica Bridge told BetOnPolitics.co.uk: "The dust has barely settled from Tuesday's historical vote, but it hasn't deterred punters from parting ways with their cash on Michelle doing what Hillary couldn't manage."

Mr Trump is the 6/4 favourite at time of writing to win the 2020 US Election, ahead of Mike Pence at 7/1.
